Attached you’ll find a copy of a letter from the Board of Directors to all owners in Kakela Makai Oceanview concerning the proposed 2011/2012 BUDGET. This attachment also includes a copy of the proposed budget as well as a copy of their proposed Groundcover Policy.

Also attached is a copy of the COMPLETE BUDGET PACKAGE which contains additional details and notes.

    I applaud the simplicity of the “new” ground cover policy. The one omission is that no where does this policy state what percentage of the lot must be covered. There are many lots that are less than 25% covered. According to this new policy, if that part of the lot is maintained as stated, the owner is in compliance. I would recommend that some where the policy states that one of the goals of this policy is to insure maximum coverage of all lots.
